As your Councilwoman, I will do my part to continue to be committed to the community and dedicated to the City of South Fulton's progress. I will focus on the residents' needs to ensure we continue to combat food insecurity and offer resources and support for you all to stay healthy.
I look forward to continuing to serve our residents in a collaborative spirit and partnering with neighbors, peers on the council, and our Mayor to implement policies to make our community safe, and initiate more youth programs through parks and recreation.
I ask for your vote for re-election.
Together we can continue to make District 3 a great community to work, live & play!
As your representative on City Council, I will continue my work with neighbors, local law enforcement agencies, and our elected leaders to find solutions to keep our communities safe and reduce the juvenile delinquency rate.
It is not enough to talk about cutting crime without finding the root causes of crime and solutions. Currently, I work with community groups to identify the challenges and opportunities that our law enforcement agencies face. We will make the city of South Fulton a safe place to live, work, play, and raise our children.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
BETTER PARKS & RECREATION
As Councilwoman, I will continue advocating for better parks, recreation facilities, and programs by building stronger private-public partnerships.
Since 2017, I’ve focused on park rehabilitation and improving local park amenities. The City of South Fulton District 3 has the largest park and recreation facilities, Welcome All Park, South Fulton Tennis Center, and South Fulton Canine Park. Over three million dollars have been invested in improving the facilities. At the South Fulton Center, all the tennis courts have been rebuilt; lights have been upgraded, and the facility now has ADA accessibility. Welcome All Park has a new roof, a pool slide underway, and new cardio workout equipment underway.
PUBLIC SAFETY
With over a decade of experience as an Accountant, it will be my top priority to work with the residents of South Fulton to assure financial transparency and prevent unnecessary tax increases.
The charter of South Fulton was written to protect residents from having new taxes imposed on them. It provides for homestead exemptions and requires a referendum by the citizens if any new taxes are proposed in the future. This means you will make decisions at the ballot box based on actual revenues and responsible spending.
